This website featuring information about the Liberty Cap Half Cent. This is an early coin of the United States, issued from 1793 to 1797. This remains an important series in the history of United States coinage as the first design for the lowest issued denomination.
The obverse features an image of Liberty with a Phrygian cap on a pole, facing eight left of right. The reverse features a laurel wreath the the denomination “Half Cent” and “1/200″.
